Tasteful or not Tasteful, You be the Judge.

This like Field & Stream editors said could be a good thing or a bad thing to say but I on the other hand think it is a good thing to say because I don't think America in general do not give women enough credit as hunter's as well as shooter's in general.
I think from what I have seen this book could be very well tasteful and would not hesitate to buy the book.

Chicks With Guns: New Photo Book Profiles Female Shooters From Across the U.S.

The cover (below) shows a young woman seated demurely on an oriental rug in front of a full-body mount of a bedded stag, a 19th-century English Forsyth pistol near her side and four antique guns on the wall behind her. I opened this sizeable hardcover to one of the 80 photographic plates, and started going through the glossy pages, at first only noticing the striking beauty of the full-page photographs and the women who were the subjects. I found myself wondering if they were just models holding guns as props, until I began to read the personal statements on each adjacent page. Written in the women’s own words, it seemed to me that their stories read like something from the pages of Field & Stream, and I wanted to know more.

Belinda from Watsonville, California, with a pair of Ruger Vaqueros in .45 Long Colt, was one of the first women in the book to be photographed.

From the title, you almost expect models in string bikinis with guns held in ways that proves they're unfamiliar with them. THIS is fine and may serve a purpose beyond intertainment for those reading the profiles.

I read the reviews on Amazon. They are enlightening. One is by one of the ladies in the book. The reviews seem to be predominantly (and remarkably) by women who love the book. I think that says something about how well the subject is presented.
